Klemis Kitchen is a vital resource at Georgia Tech, dedicated to supporting students facing food insecurity. Klemis Kitchen provides access to nutritious meals in a discreet and supportive environment, ensuring that every student never skips a meal and has the resources they need to focus on their academic and personal success. Through the Campus Kitchen Project (CKP) , leftover food from dining halls and kitchens is collected and packaged into individual meals, which are then distributed to those in need.
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is proud to support Klemis Kitchen in its mission to combat food insecurity on campus. Through fundraising efforts and volunteer initiatives, IFC works to raise awareness and contribute to this important cause. By partnering with Klemis Kitchen, IFC reinforces its commitment to service, leadership, and fostering a strong, supportive campus community. Students in need of assistance or those looking to get involved can find more information through Georgia Tech's Student Life resources.
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) offers Value-Based Grants (VBGs) to promote the core values of its member fraternities. These grants aim to reimburse fraternity expenses for events that align with their mission and values, including philanthropy, fundraising, or service activities. The funds are distributed twice per semester, with each request reviewed by the IFC VP of Philanthropy, VP of Finance, and the Executive Board. Chapters may apply for reimbursement by submitting an application form and providing itemized receipts. Funding requests must meet specific guidelines, which can be found in the bylaws, and a cap of $1,500 per chapter per semester. Any individual event that costs more than $500 is subject to less reimbursement for costs as specified in the bylaws. If your fraternity is interested in applying, please submit the VBG application form through the link below. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
